Fractional Funds Development Consultant

Help us unlock new funding—corporate sponsors, grants, and donors—so more young men across Greater Atlanta can achieve more.

Location: Atlanta Metro (Alpharetta, Smyrna, or remote flexibility)
Commitment: Approximately 15–20 hours per week
Compensation: $25,000–$35,000 base + performance incentives (paid monthly by invoice)

About Us

Krimson Community Foundation (KCF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering young men in grades 4–12 across Greater Atlanta.
Through mentorship, leadership development, scholarships, and community engagement, we help young men build confidence, achieve academically, and lead with purpose.


About the Role

KCF seeks a Fractional Development Consultant to lead efforts to expand our donor, sponsor, and grant portfolio.
This is a high-impact, relationship-driven consulting engagement ideal for a fundraising professional with proven experience identifying, cultivating, and securing new funding sources.

The consultant will work closely with the KCF Board and leadership team to strengthen financial sustainability and enhance community partnerships.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new corporate sponsors, donors, and grant opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate, foundation, and individual funders
  • Research, develop, and submit grant proposals and sponsorship packages
  • Represent KCF at community and networking events across the Atlanta metro area
  • Track and report fundraising progress, metrics, and pipeline updates
  • Collaborate with the Board and volunteers to align fundraising with strategic priorities

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in nonprofit fundraising, sponsorship, or grant writing
  • Proven ability to identify and secure new funding opportunities
  • Strong network within Atlanta’s philanthropic and business communities (preferred)
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
  • Independent, self-motivated, and comfortable working collaboratively with volunteer leaders
  • Passion for youth development, mentoring, and community impact

Engagement Details

  • Fractional consulting role averaging 15–20 hours per week
  • Compensation: $25,000–$35,000 base + performance incentives tied to fundraising goals
  • Paid monthly upon invoice
  • Hybrid structure with flexibility for virtual work and periodic in-person meetings in the Atlanta area
